Join Community Outreach’s, Alternative Break to Groton, CT on Coastal Conservation.
During this weekend long alternative break, participants from Storrs and Avery Point will come together for an immersive experience focusing on coastal environment issues. In the past, the group has worked on beach clean-ups, removal of invasive species, and planting eelgrass. Project Oceanology will also be providing the group with information and education vital to understanding the environmental issues in the Long Island Sound area.
