KITCHEN FIRE SAFETY TRAINING
Fire Prevention Week 2019 – October 7th through 11th
During the week of October 7-11, through a collaboration of the UConn Fire Department and UConn Department of Residential Life, there will be hands-on training for kitchen fire safety at all UConn residential complexes that have full kitchens. The training will use a kitchen stove simulator that will mimic the effects of a kitchen fire in a safe and non-toxic manner.
Please stop in at any time during the following timeframes:
Monday, October 7 – Husky Village – 3:00pm to 5:00pm
Held in the Gazebo
Tuesday, October 8 – Charter Oak Apartments – 3:00pm to 5:00pm
Held at Charter Oak Community Center
Wednesday, October 9 – Hilltop Apartments – 3:00pm to 5:00pm
Held at Hilltop Community Center
Thursday, October 10 – Mansfield Apartments – 3:00pm to 5:00pm
Held in outdoor area between Buildings 14-15-16
Friday, October 11 – Northwood Apartments – 3:00pm to 5:00pm
Held in outdoor area between Buildings 7 and 9
