    UConn Library Software Carpentry Workshop: Programming in R and Project Management with Github

    This two-day course is for graduate students, advanced undergraduates, professors, and other researchers with or without any knowledge of these two tools. We will cover introductory programming in the R language, an overview of how to manipulate data, and how to produce publication-quality graphics. You will also learn how to create and manage collaborative projects using GitHub.

    Two-day course:
    October 10, 4:30pm-8:30pm
    October 11, 8:30am-4:30pm

    Participants must bring a laptop with a Mac, Linux, or Windows operating system (not a tablet, Chromebook, etc.) that they have administrative privileges to install software on.
