Join UConn Virsa for our first meeting tomorrow, Tuesday 9/24, 8-9 pm, at the Women's Center Multi Purpose Room (4th Floor SU).
UConn Virsa is a cultural club with the aim to spread the beauty and culture of Punjab throughout campus. Punjab is a region in northern India and eastern Pakistan. We plan to do activities, such as a bhangra workshop and fundraise for the Punjab Relief Fund,a fund to raise money to build a school in the poverty area of Punjab. We will also discuss current events in Punjab during every meeting. Food will be served. We are open to people of all ethnicities and different backgrounds. Come join us to discuss new ideas that we have planned for the semester!
