  • Alternative Spring Break to Oklahoma

    Want to make your Spring Break meaningful? Apply to the Oklahoma Alternative Break focused on Cultural Preservation and Rural Poverty. During this week-long alternative break trip, students will be living and working within the Cherokee Nation in Oklahoma. In the past, we have met with local leaders to discuss current issues facing the Cherokee Nation, restored a community center, built wheelchair ramps for people with disabilities, repaired houses for the elderly and participated in cultural activities On the trip we will be working with local community partners for both direct and indirect service opportunities.

    Applications open on Thursday, September 26, 2019 at 9am and close on Wednesday, October 23, 2019 at noon.
