KUBE, or Kids and UConn Bridging Education, is a one-on-one mentoring program with middle school students from the Killingly and Windham middle schools. The aim of the program is to create a multicultural mentoring environment that builds literacy, educational aspirations, and social skills development. We meet one Saturday a month from about 11am-4pm and engage in various activities that help promote these skills for the students. Mentees are transported to the Student Union at UConn, meaning no transportation is required for you.
The dates for KUBE this year are as follows:
Fall dates: 9/28, 10/19, 11/16
Spring dates: 2/1, 3/7, 4/4
