If you're interested in joining a pre-health club or want to take action about a health topic that you're passionate about, we are the organization to join! United Against Inequities in Disease (UAID) is an organization on campus that is focused on taking action at UConn and in the surrounding community to alleviate health inequities. We create service projects based on ideas that members come up with! Last semester, we implemented a healthy eating initiative, MyPlate, in the dining halls at UConn so students can eat healthier and reduce high blood pressure. Your idea could become a reality next!
