The Learning Community Innovation Zone (LCIZ) Makerspace is accepting new Maker Mentors!! LCIZ Maker Mentors is a leadership opportunity that offers opportunities to:
- Become proficient on the various equipment found in the LCIZ while working on new and exciting projects
- Assist with maker workshops, presentations and events
- Engage with their fellow makers
- Ultimately act as ambassadors of the LCIZ while advancing the maker culture here at UConn
If you enjoy being creative, producing innovative solutions to problems, collaborating with others, tinkering, or making new creations, we encourage you to visit the LCIZ Makerspace, located in Werth Residence Tower in Room 014, on Wednesday, September 11th from 7-9pm.
Light refreshments will be served and you will have the opportunity to learn more about the LCIZ Makerspace and chat with other makers on campus!
