Join Kids and UConn Bridging Education, aka. KUBE!

KUBE is a one-on-one mentoring program with middle school students from the Killingly and Windham middle schools. The aim of the program is to create a multicultural mentoring environment that builds literacy, educational aspirations, and social skills development. We meet one Saturday a month from about 11am-4pm and engage in various activities that help promote these skills for the students. Mentees are transported to the Student Union at UConn, meaning no transportation is required for you.

Last year, we had close to 100 mentors and 100 mentees, along with 12 student leaders and 10 supporting administrators! KUBE was awarded the Student Life Award for Organization Community Service in 2013, and has a large network of alumni who return to support the program on a monthly basis! Our community is vast and diverse, and we look forward to expanding our KUBE family this year and in years to come!
