Community Outreach Alternative Break Info Sessions!
Do you have a passion about a social justice issue? Have you ever had the opportunity to engage in meaningful conversations around this topic with your fellow UConn students? Would you like to experience something new? Apply for an Alternative Break! Community Outreach offers these immersive service-learning experiences during Fall/Spring Weekend, Winter Break, and Spring Break to various locations throughout the United States and even one international location! Some of our topics include: urban/rural poverty, education, cultural preservation, environmental conservation, homelessness, LGBTQIA+ education, HIV/AIDS awareness & advocacy, community development, healthcare access, food insecurity, urban development, etc.
