Collegiate Health Service Corps (CHSC) is an organization functioning under Area Health Education Center (AHEC) that seeks to connect pre-professional students with local medically underserved populations in order to provide culturally competent, educational health lessons. We reach out to several different sites including Pride's Corner Farms (a migrant worker farm), Covenant Soup Kitchen, an after school program, and community centers. We have a dual mission of working with local populations to provide effective resources and preventative health lessons as well as exposing undergraduate or post-graduate students to medically underserved individuals.
