University of Connecticut Volunteers Wanted for a Research Study: Depression Symptoms in Young Adults with and without Autism Symptoms

    Overview:

You are invited to participate in this research study. The goal of the study is to evaluate the effectiveness of psychiatric screening tools in individuals with high versus low levels of autism spectrum disorder (ASD) traits. We will ask you to complete a survey containing two short questionnaires, one about mood symptoms and one about traits also seen in people with ASD. This will take approximately 20 minutes. We will also request permission to contact your parent/guardian to ask that person to complete a short survey about their perception of your developmental history and current health. Your participation will be anonymous and you will not be contacted again in the future.

You will receive a $10 electronic Amazon gift card via email for your time. You are eligible if you are 18-24 years old and enrolled as a student at UConn.
