We invite you to join us for "Across to the Western Shore: Songs of the Irish and Irish-American Experience" Friday, May 3, 2019 at 8:00PM in von der Mehden Recital Hall featuring Earthtones Vocal Ensemble and guest artist Will O’Hare (Irish flutes and bohdrán), with the Consonare Youth Scholars and UConn Glee Club. This multi-media program features folk, rock and popular songs that highlight specific historical periods, voice protest against injustices, and reflect a strong sense of pride, sense of humor and sense of community. The band is rockin' and the singers will bring a smile to your face and a tear to your eye. Free admission.
