Each year, 1 million seabirds and 100,000 marine animals die from ingesting plastic. Do your part and stop using plastic straws.
Brothers of Alpha Phi Omega will be holding a reusable metal straw fundraiser for the coming Earth Day. Stop by the Student Union tables this Tuesday, April 16th through Thursday, April 18th from 10 am - 2 pm to buy a metal reusable straw (with removable silicone tip) to do your part in reducing the usage of plastic straws. Straws will be sold for $3 and proceeds will be donated to the South Carolina Aquarium in their efforts to protect the sea turtles.
Let's make this the last straw.
