No Freeze Homeless Shelter is hosting a fundraiser with Blaze Pizza on Monday, April 8th, from 6-9PM at their Storrs Center location. With every purchase, show the flyer (available in the Facebook event listed below), and a portion of the proceeds will be donated directly to the shelter.
A little bit about No Freeze and what your contribution would be going toward:
No Freeze is a shelter based out of Willimantic that works with Community Outreach at UConn, as well as Eastern Connecticut State University. No Freeze is a not-for-profit agency dedicated to the survival of homeless adults. It provides basic overnight shelter from cold weather for homeless persons aged 18 and older. It remains open from November 15th through April each year. The organization provides safe shelter and strives to address unmet needs including food, clothing, hygiene, and more.
