The Academia-Industry Opportunities Group is excited to announce our second annual speed networking event at UConn Health. The event is Thursday, April 25th from 5:00-8:00pm in the academic rotunda. We have over a dozen industry representatives coming to meet with students and post-docs about careers and this is your chance to make meaningful connections to those in fields of interest to you. We have individuals from venture capitalism, science start-up, consulting, field specialists, patent law, and scientific communication (just to name a few). Following the registration period, another form will be sent to registered users asking for your top 3 choices for networking. Other meetings will be randomly scheduled. Our event is graciously sponsored by Stratacuity and the UConn Health Graduate Student Organization.
Those who haven’t signed up will be free to network during the “free network periods” but will not be allowed in the formal networking forum.
