  • 3/29 Sweats for Survivors

The Violence Against Women Prevention Program is holding its second annual clothing drive, Sweats for Survivors! Our goal is to collect new/gently used sweatpants, sweatshirts, T-shirts, warm socks, and snacks for victim/survivors after a Sexual Assault evidence forensic exam, where clothes are often taken. In an effort to support the campus community all donations will be given to crisis centers that support UConn students both here at Storrs and other branch campuses. These include: Student Health Services (Storrs), Sexual Assault Crisis Center of Eastern Connecticut (Storrs, Avery Point), and the YWCA of New Britain Sexual Assault (UConn Greater Hartford School of Law, School of Social Work, Graduate Business)!
