Good morning UCONN Students!
I hope everybody had a great spring break and ready for this last leg of the semester! My name is Patrick Kornegay Jr. and I’m the vice chair for the Sports Committee Team on SUBOG and we’re looking for students interested in joining our committee who have an interest in giving back to our community through sports! The Sports Committee, lead by Autumnsarah Foster-Pagett, oversees all the sports related events on campus, including the Beyond the Field lecture series, popular speakers like Stephen A. Smith, and travel trips to popular games like the Boston Red Sox and Bruins games. We have weekly meetings on Mondays from 5:30-6:30 in room 410 at the Student Union! This is a great opportunity to build your network at UConn as well as the opportunity to bring in famous sports stars to come talk to students! We’re very excited to have more people on our committee and we’re looking forward to seeing everybody!
