  • Enrolling Participants - Chronic Low Back Pain

    Volunteers Wanted for a Paid Research Study

     

    Do You Have Chronic Low Back Pain?

    We are currently recruiting participants for a paid research study that is evaluating pain sensitivity over the episode of chronic low back pain.

    Participation will include completing questionnaires about your pain, undergoing a sensory assessment and having your blood drawn at the time that you consent for the study, and watching some modules about low back pain.

    This study includes two visits to the pain research lab and participation from home.

    If you are between the ages of 18-60 years, have experienced low back pain for more than half the days during the last 6 months and do not have a specific cause of back pain, such as a herniated disc or trauma, you may be eligible to participate.

    You will not be eligible if you have:

    • Another chronic pain condition or other conditions that cause pain;

    • Neurological deficits such as weakness

    • Are pregnant or within 3-months post-partum
