WAIM is a non-profit organization that provides services to low-income families in the greater Windham area. WAIM supports the community with a household goods redistribution program, providing free clothing in furniture to those in need. Volunteers have the opportunity to sort incoming donations, organize, register clients, and assist with tasks. This is a great opportunity to interact with the community, and see the organization of a successful non-profit.
Volunteer slots are available on Tuesday, Thursday, or Friday from 9 am-12 pm.
WAIM is run through UConn Community Outreach and transportation is provided!
