Students for One Health (SOH) is a newly formed student organization on campus. We aim to promote the theory of One Health, which involves the collaboration between human, animal and environmental health sectors. We will do this through various advocacy and outreach events both here at UConn and in our surrounding communities. SOH has various leadership opportunities available to new members. Any and all majors are welcome as One Health applies to everything!

We have four leadership opportunities available at this time.
One Health Week Director: Oversees One Health Week event planning in Fall semester, organize events to continue throughout the week, responsible for One Health Week committee and delegation of tasks, and keep in regular contact with the President with updates
One Health Conference Director: Oversees One Health Conference planning in the Spring semester, organize speakers, workshops and events for the professional conference, responsible for One Health Conference committee and delegation of tasks, and keep in regular contact with Secretary with updates
Social Media & Website Coordinator: Work with Dr. Sandra Bushmich and CAHNR Communications to develop a University-sponsored webpage, website must include at the very least One Health related courses, research and events on and nearby campus, maintain some sort of Students for One Health social media (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram), and keep in regular contact with Vice President with updates
Fundraising Director: Organize fundraising activities for the club, may include grassroots fundraisers (ex. Battle of the Bands, Paint Nite) or previously established fundraisers (ex. Krispy Kreme, Mooyah’s), and work directly and keep in close contact with Treasurer
