Volunteers Wanted for a Research Study
The Effects of Cognitive Exercises on EEG Activity and Body Balance
The purpose of this research is to test the efficacy of increasing problem-solving ability in STEM students through creative exercises. The study will take approximately 2 hours and involves wearing electroencephalography (EEG) equipment.
Participants are NOT eligible if they:
- Are not 18 years of age or older
- Are not able to wear an EEG cap
- Have ever had a traumatic brain injury
- Do not have normal or corrected-to-normal vision (glasses or contact lenses are ok)
- Have severely impaired hearing
- Are currently taking any psychoactive medications
- Are not fluent in English
- Are left handed
- Have any musculoskeletal or neurological disorders
- Have trouble standing for periods of 10 minutes or longer
Participants will receive monetary compensation at $10/hour for their time.
