Good morning UConn Students!
My name is Patrick Kornegay Jr. and I’m the vice chair for the Sports Committee Team on SUBOG and we’re looking for students interested in joining our committee who have an interest in giving back to our community through sports! The Sports Committee, lead by Autumnsarah Foster-Pagett, oversees all the sports related events on campus, including the Beyond the Field lecture series, popular speakers like Stephen A. Smith, and travel trips to popular games like the Boston Red Sox and Bruins games. We have weekly meetings on Mondays from 5:30-6:30 in room 410 at the Student Union, but this upcoming week we will be having an event at the SU Ballroom where we will be doing NEON Roller Skating! We’re very excited to have more people on our committee and we’re looking forward to seeing everybody!
