7:00 pm Moonlight
Synopsis- A chronicle of the childhood, adolescence and burgeoning adulthood of a young, African-American, gay man growing up in a rough neighborhood of Miami.
3/8
4:00 pm Black Womyn: Conversations with Lesbians of African Descent
Synopsis- A feature-length documentary focusing on the lives and views of lesbians of African descent from various backgrounds.
4/24
5:00 pm - The New Black
Synopsis - The New Black is a documentary that tells the story of how the African-American community is grappling with the gay rights issue in light of the recent gay marriage movement and the fight over civil rights.
All films will follow with a short discussion. This event is free and open to the public.
