Join us for a special concert featuring Solomiya Ivakhiv and Friends.
Artists: Solomiya Ivakhiv (violinist and Assistant Professor at UConn School of Music), Mihae Lee (pianist and member of the Boston Chamber Society), William Purvis (Grammy Award winning horn player and Professor at Yale School of Music).
Program: Robert Schumann, Schumann Fantasiestücke, Op. 73 (1849), transcr. for horn & piano Sergei Prokofiev, Sonata No. 1 in f for violin & piano, Op. 80 (1938-46) Johannes Brahms, Horn trio in Eb, Op. 40 (1865).
Tickets: $7 ($5 Museum Members); Students with ID are Free. Purchase tickets at the museum's front desk or by calling 860-486-4520. Proceeds benefit WBMA Exhibitions and Programs.
