UConnPIRG's Hunger and Homelessness campaign is holding the UConn Charity Showcase to benefit a local homeless shelter and raise awareness about poverty in Connecticut. The UConn Charity Showcase is meant to double as being both educational (with presenters) and entertaining (talent performing). The event serves to collect donations for the No Freeze Shelter in Willimantic which caters to homeless men and women in Windham County.
