My name is Stephany Santos, a PhD Student in Biomedical Engineering here at the University of Connecticut. I am conducting a research project entitled The Double Bind of Race and Gender: Women in Engineering that looks at the intersection of both gender and race of female engineering students. This project has been approved by the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign Institutional Review Board (IRB number: 17051 (UIUC)).

By participating in this study, you will contribute to providing a more complete understanding of the experiences of women in engineering.
