  • 11/7 "Going Back To Israel" with "Dag Nachash" UConn

UConn Hillel is happy to announce that this year's "Going Back to Israel" event will take place on Wednesday, the 7th of November in the Hillel building, from 5:30 PM to 8:30 PM (54N Eagleville Rd). The event is co-sponsored by our very own "Huskies for Israel" club, the "StandWithUS" organization, "Zionist Organization of America" and "Onward". We will have featured tabling sessions of the organizations aforementioned and more, in which you can learn more about the programs and internships offered in Israel or the fellowship opportunities on campus for Jewish and non-Jewish students alike!

The event will conclude with our guest speaker for the evening, the singer and songwriter of the Israeli band "Hadag Nahash" ("The Sticker Song", soundtrack for "You Don't Mess with the Zohan"), a screenplay writer ("The Wonders"), a former columnist (Time Out Israel), a bar owner, a peace and social activist and a lifelong Jerusalemite in a land where nearly the entire cultural scene has migrated to Tel Aviv - Shaanan Streett!
Come and see how you can get more involved too!
