KILLINGTON 2019- Trip Details
The UConn Ski and Snowboard Club is excited to announce our 2019 Killington Trip!
Join us January 6th-10th for College Week at one of the largest mountains on the east coast. This trip includes 5 full days of skiing and 4 nights of lodging at deluxe Highridge Condominiums. Amenities at the Highridge condos include:
Full kitchen
Washer & dryer
Sauna and/or whirlpool tub in every room
Free wifi
Free shuttle to base lodge, which is less than a mile away
Access to Highridge sports center, which offers an indoor pool, 20 person hot tub, sauna, exercise room, game room, and more.
Rooms in Highridge can accommodate groups of 6,8, or 10. For the “Over 21” crowd, Killington offers a great variety of aprés and nightlife, including the Wobbly Barn bar and Pickle Barrel nightclub. With outdoor concerts, giveaways, and daily events (did we mention the skiing?) schools from all over the east coast flock to the slopes during College Week, and this January, UConn is doing the same.

As of right now, this year’s trip caps at 54 people. This adventure is open to UConn Ski and Snowboard Club Members, UConn Students, alumni, and non-UConn students. Spots are filled on a first come, first served basis. However, reservation priority follows the order listed above. Your spot will be officially reserved once we receive a deposit.
In addition to the experience, trip attendees will also receive an exclusive long sleeve T-shirt, different from the long sleeve T we put out for all members ever year.
UConn student, but not a UConn Ski and Snowboard Club member? No worries- Dues are only $25, and you can join at any time. With your UConn club membership and discounted trip pricing, you’ll also get a 2018-2019 club T-shirt, a laptop sticker, as well as membership to the CT Ski Council, which offers discounted tickets to mountains across the east coast, all included at no extra cost.
To keep the cost down, the quoted price does not include transportation to or from the mountain. However, we’ll set up a meeting prior to the trip to discuss details and figure out carpools. We’ve never had to leave someone without a ride.
