We will be serving with the Birmingham community to address various needs focused on urban poverty while exploring the root causes. We will explore and learn about the civil rights movement and its impact on poverty in Birmingham and other urban areas. Possible service activities include: painting houses, cleaning gutters, volunteering at Birmingham food bank, etc.
