  • 9/18 XcellR8 - Do You Love Music or Entrepreneurship?

    XcellR8 Event

    Tuesday, September 18
    6:30-7:30 pm
Werth Tower NextGen Forum, room 112

Alex Ciccio, a 2018 UConn business school graduate and CCEI* Summer Fellowship participant, launched a business with classmates that will help MUSIC COMPOSERS gain exposure and connect with supportive listeners and MUSIC CONSUMERS save time discovering new songs and artists. If you make music or care about the music you listen to, come provide feedback while you learn how they turned common frustrations these two groups encounter into a business idea!

Event is FREE & open to all students!

The XcellR8 event series was brought to UConn in 2017 by Kevin Bouley, CEO & President of Nerac, Inc. Kevin invites UConn students or alumni to pitch business start-ups/ideas before a group of seasoned professionals and UConn students, faculty and staff. They share their progress-to-date as well as a pain point they are experiencing in building their business that they are seeking advice for. Audience members ask questions and provide feedback.

Kevin, a UConn alum, believes students should be invited to activities like this to learn how you can create solutions to problems in your everyday lives and in your future careers, regardless of your major or interests.

XcellR8 is held once a month during fall & spring. Learn & network with likeminded individuals!
