The Connecticut Middle School Science Bowl is seeking a team of dedicated and enthusiastic student leaders to assist in the planning and execution of the Connecticut Middle School Science Bowl (MSSB) event.
The MSSB is a quiz bowl competition of two teams of four students on each team. The middle school students must answer challenging science, math, earth & space science, chemistry, energy, and physics questions in a fast paced timed setting. In addition to the quiz bowl competition, this exciting event also includes afternoon science demonstrations, and—if available—an appearance by the Jonathan husky mascot!
The MSSB team is seeking students to fill the following leadership roles:
- Administrative/Logistics Coordinator
- Training/Volunteer/Demo Coordinator
- Coach Coordinator/PR Representative
Members of the MSSB Student Leadership Team will further strengthen their leadership skills, organizational skills, [and resume!] as they work together and with MSSB CT Coordinators to plan this large STEM event!
The CT MSSB is seeking applications of interested students by MONDAY, SEPTEMBER 17TH.
