The WHUS news department gives student journalists, story-tellers and photographers an opportunity to hone in on their skills by telling the stories of the Husky community. Whether it be a breaking news story, an incredible event or an unexpected tale, you will be able to report, write, record and publish the story on the WHUS website. Don't have any experience in the field? No worries! We'll teach you the basics of newswriting, photography with a DSLR camera as well as audio-recording and editing. Choose the stories you want to tell at our weekly meetings. Become a co-host for our new show on the air (Husky News Nation airs on 91.7FM on Fridays, 9:30-10:00am)!
