Student Organization Events & Information

  • 9/6 Pre-Pharmacy Students Welcome

    Dear Pre-Pharmacy Students,

Are you looking to advance professionally in the pharmaceutical world? Phi Delta Chi (PDC) is a co-ed national professional pharmacy fraternity. The organization develops leaders to advance the profession of pharmacy while promoting scholastic, professional, and social growth in its brothers. With over 60,000 initiated brothers nationwide, PDC represents the largest and oldest pharmacy fraternity in the country with nearly 1 in every 12 pharmacists being a PDC brother.

Our fraternity provides you with the chance to network with current and previous UConn School of Pharmacy students as well as PDC members from chapters across the country at annual conferences. PDC also provides a number of resources designed to help you get into pharmacy school such as mock interviews, CV workshops, and PCAT/PharmCAS information sessions just to name a few. We also participate in fundraising events for our national philanthropy, St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.

PDC is a great way to meet people who have similar goals and interests, helping to form life-long bonds of friendship. To find out more and meet some of our awesome brothers, come and join us for our "Meat and Greet' Thursday September 6th in the Pharmacy/Biology Building Room 338 at 6pm, which will feature food from Wings Over Storrs. Please also feel free to reach out to Joe Morman (Recruitment Officer) or Jess Saltzgiver (President) at joseph.morman@uconn.edu or jessica.saltzgiver@uconn.edu if you would like to learn more!

We look forward to meeting you and welcoming you into our PDC family!

    AAAE,

    UConn PDC Brothers
