Come and join UConn Tap Club for our first meeting of the semester! No experience or audition is necessary and you do not have to have tap shoes! If you do not have tap shoes, please wear sneakers. First semester we learn and review tap steps and practice pieces choreographed by club members. Second semester we practice dances to perform in our annual showcase. There are many opportunities for club members to choreograph. We also have social events (team dinners, bowling, etc.) throughout both semesters.
Meeting Time:
6:30-7 Beginner Tap (a warm up and overview of steps, great for beginners or experienced tappers that would like to practice)
7-8 Student Led Choreography (each week a club member volunteers to choreograph a short piece for the club to practice)
