The UCG Application Process is designed to let applicants take away valuable skills and experience whether or not you are asked to join the group. These skills will include structured problem solving, critical thinking, and navigating interviews including a case interview.

    Steps:

    1. Submit an Application on the UCG Website. (http://uconnconsulting.org/join-us/)

APPLICATIONS ARE DUE: Sunday, September 16th 11:59 PM

    2. Selected applicants will receive an invitation to participate in the "UCG Applicant Program". The "UCG Applicant Program" is a 3-week program which is mandatory in order to be invited for a series of interviews to join UCG. The UCG Applicant Program will teach topics including, an introduction to consulting and UCG, practice case interviews, and a high-level overview of consulting skills. Participants of the program will also receive a Professional Certificate from UCG.

    3. UCG Interview “Super-day” where applicants participate in a series of 2 interviews. Interviews will include a behavioral and case portion which will be conducted by senior UCG members. The fit portion will allow the interviewer and interviewee to learn about each other’s backgrounds and ask questions.  The case interview will test your ability to structure your thoughts, drive the conversation towards a solution, and think on your feet.

     4. After reviewing all applications, we will contact you regarding interviews if you are asked to become a member of UCG.
