  • Asian American Participants Needed for Study

    Asian American students are invited to participate in research interviews being conducted to explore individual perceptions of the Asian American educational experience.

    To qualify for this study, you have to be of East and/or Southeast Asian descent, second- or third-generation Asian American, an undergraduate at the University of Connecticut, and at least 17 years of age. East Asian Americans may descend from China, Hong Kong, Macau, North Korea, South Korea, Japan, Taiwan, or Mongolia; while Southeast Asian Americans may descend from Brunei, Cambodia, Indonesia, Laos, Malaysia, Myanmar, The Philippines, Singapore, Thailand, Timor-Leste, or Vietnam. Participants must be either second- or third-generation Asian Americans, meaning that either their parents or grandparents immigrated into the United States.

    The study will involve two interview sessions of about one hour each and completion of reading material between the two sessions. Participants who complete all portions of the study will receive a $75 Visa Gift Card.
