The department of Ecology and Evolutionary Biology is offering an undergrad course, EEB3894, that is paired with the department's seminar series. Every week the department brings in a prominent ecologist or evolutionary biologist to discuss their research and current findings. Students enrolled in the seminar course read a paper written by the speaker, get to meet with the speaker to discuss the paper and ask them questions, and then attend the speaker's lecture. The goal of this course is teach students how to read, interpret, and critque scientific articles and to discuss effective ways of communicating scientific results.
