  • 2018 UConn AsACC Scholarship Winners

The Asian American Cultural Center (AsACC) is pleased to announce the awarding of its annual scholarships.

The UConn Asian American Cultural Center Endowment Fund, established in 2012 through an initial gift from the Slate Family: George, Laurel, Victoria (’07), and Rebeccah (’11), awards annual scholarships that recognize an undergraduate’s active involvement with AsACC programs (AMP, KUBE, PAC, China Care, Salaam, and Mixed), or demonstrated involvement in an Asian American initiative, research project or community cause within the State of Connecticut.  Scholarships are renewable for 4 years, or until graduation, but may extend to graduate studies if continued at UConn, provided all criteria are met each year.

Congratulations to the 2018 UConn AsACC Endowment Fund scholarship winner RAMSHA KHAN ’19 (MCB & HDFS).

The Asiantation Mentoring Program (AMP) also awards scholarships to the outstanding AMP Mentor and Mentee of the Year.

Congratulations to the 2018 AMP scholarship winners:  Mentor Wah-Jian Lin '18 (Computer Science) and Mentee Maggie Cheung '21 (Computer Science).

Scholarship winners were announced at the 2018 Senior Night and Awards Banquet on April 22, 2018.
