On Sunday, April 29th, at 6 PM in J. Louis von der Mehden Hall, the UConn Chamber Orchestra Club will be performing its spring concert. The repertoire includes Movement I from Beethoven's First Symphony, Movements I and IV from Holst's St. Paul's Suite, and Movements I and IV from Grieg's Peer Gynt Suite No. 1. In addition, this concert will feature the debut of the club's Concerto Competition; the winning piece this year is Movement III from Vivaldi's Recorder Concerto in C Major on flute. The pieces are performed by the Wind Ensemble, the String Orchestra, and the Full Orchestra. Admission is free for everyone.
