Program Evaluation and Assessment Team Phase 2: Raters Needed for Summer Work (4–6 Positions)
The First-Year Writing Program seeks individuals to perform the following tasks as part of our program assessment efforts:
- review the materials collected by the PEAT planners (student writing as well as instructional materials),
- apply the scoring instruments crafted by PEAT,
- collate data and conduct some analysis,
- draft some small sections of the final report.
Dates of Employment: We anticipate the raters’ work will begin on Monday, May 21. We will discuss how we will schedule the approximately 40 hours’ worth of work.
Stipend: $1000
Who’s Eligible: UConn graduate students from any department. (FYW instructors cannot have taught English 1003 or 1004 in either Fall 2017 or Spring 2018 or secured other summer employment through FYW.)
