Hello Pâtissiers!
This is the official event page for the fantastically fun Let Them Eat Cake! Let Them Eat Cake is a competition where students can come together to vie for who decorates the best cake! We are seeking 30 groups of no more than 4 undergraduate students, so make sure to register before spots are taken!!!
THIS IS A FREE EVENT AND ALL MATERIALS PROVIDED BY USG AND SPRING WEEKEND- CAKES AND ALL!
Each group will have one hour to decorate a cake based on a theme chosen by that group. After that one hour is up, spectators and judges will have the opportunity to view and adjudicate each cake. Our first, second, and third place winners will be determined by the judges along with a Fan Favorite voted on by spectators!
There will be treats for competitors and t-shirts!!!!
NOTE: Please be aware of potential allergies that participants may have when working with baked goods.
Breakdown of the Day:
2:00 pm- Doors Open for check-in.
2:45 pm- Every group who wants to compete must be registered by this time.
3:00- Doors are closed and the competition will begin promptly at this time. Decorators will have exactly one hour to craft their masterpiece.
4:00- Decorating ends! Doors open, and judging begins.
4:45- Winners are announced!
5:00- Event ends!
