The UConn Section of the National Council of Negro Women is hosting -- Sunday, April 22nd @ 5:30PM - 7:00PM in the Dodd Center -- their second annual Black Girls Rock Ceremony!
This is a free event open to all with a special free giveaway for the first 50 attendees! The ceremony includes awards, performances, sisterhood and a joyous, healing celebration of Black girl magic, realness, + wholeness. NCNW is hosting Shydeia Caldwell Founder + CEO of Black Girl Magik, an online & IRL space for black women to bond and recharge, as our lovely guest speaker.
Black Girls Rock is a beautiful event with a theme this year of "Ain't I a Woman", debunking the complexity of the black woman, please come and bring your fellow beloved sis for this annual celebration of us.
