WHAT: Last Husky Standing, an annual community service field-day tournament held by the UConn Lions Club
WHEN: This Saturday, April 7th, 12pm-5pm
WHERE: South Campus Quad
WHY: It's a great community service event that brings together different clubs, fraternities, and sororities from all over campus to compete in a bracket-style tournament in order to win PRIZES and be the “last husky standing.” Teams will play a variety of games including Kan Jam, Corn Hole, Ultimate Frisbee, Volleyball, Tug of War, and Egg Toss. PLUS, it counts towards any service hour requirements you may have!
HOW: Just show up on Saturday with a team of 5 ready to play! It costs $25 per team of 5 people, and this includes entry in the tournament as well as FOOD, which will be offered throughout the day.
All of the money made from this event will go towards local causes to help fight poverty, so any extra donations are welcome and greatly appreciated!
HELP US MAKE A DIFFERENCE AND HAVE FUN DOING IT!!
