Join us for the 18th annual Sigma Alpha Open/4-H Horse Show on Saturday, April 7th 2018 at the Horsebarn Hill Arena. FOR RIDERS ENROLLED IN THE UCONN RIDING PRACTICUM: Horse draw is Monday, April 2nd at 7:30 pm in the Horsebarn Hill Arena foyer. IF YOU MISSED THE DRAW: Email alexandra.cabra@uconn.edu and you will able to choose from any horses left. Entry fee is $8 per class ($13 for the Sigma Alpha Pleasure Classic) plus a $2 secretary fee per entry. Divisions include green horse, leadline, long stirrup, modified huntseat equitation, jumpers, western, english flat, and games including pole bending, barrel racing, sit a buck, and a costume class. Classes start promptly at 9 am. Breakfast and Lunch will be available for purchase. Outside barns MUST bring their own horses. All outside horses require current negatieve coggins, proof of rabies vaccine within 12 months of show date, proof of eastern/western/rhino/flu vaccine within 12 months of show date, proof of rhino/flu booster 10-90 days prior to show, temperature log of three day prior to show, and a complete UConn Equine Health form. Proceeds from one of our divisions will be donated to Folly Farm to help with the damage from their fire in December. We look forward to seeing you there!
