  • Teach Others How to Save A Life

    School shootings and other tragedies are becoming more common every day. Come learn how to make a difference and help someone in a life-threatening bleeding situation. Join Kristen Whyte and UCONN Rescue to teach others these important skills on campus. 

    This training is free of charge. Initial class and instructor training will last 2.5 hours.

    Requirements: 

    You must have one of the following certifications:

    EMT

    EMR

    Paramedic

    RN

    PHTLS instructor/provider 

    NAEMT/ATLS/ATCH/TNCC instructor

    You must also be willing to assist in teaching the Stop the Bleed: Bleeding Control class on UCONN Storrs campus once per month.
