  • 3/24 L.I.D. Multicultural Education Conference

Leadership in Diversity would like to invite you to their third annual Conference on Multicultural Education and Culturally Responsive Teaching: Re-Imagining Education for Generations.

Leadership in Diversity, LID, is a student run organization that was created by Neag Students to support, encourage, and provide professional growth opportunities for students of color interested in the field of education. Through this organization, they have not only been able to act as a support system for each other, but also bring speakers to campus and present at conferences, including the 25th, 26th and 27th Annual National Association for Multicultural Education Conference!

The conference will be held on Saturday, March 24th from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. in the Oak Hall Building at the University of Connecticut - Storrs Campus. The conference is FREE and will feature renowned educator Dr. Bettina Love as our keynote speaker.  More details about how to register can be found here.
