Seminar Title: Fools’ experiments in pursuit of transmutation and natural selection
The variations in barnacle sexual forms led me to examine how nature uses bees to select for increased variation in flowering plants. Needing experimental evidence for natural selection, I created a weed garden to measure selection. In this presentation I will illustrate how observations from nature, coupled with experimenting, can lead to well-supported theories of natural processes.
