UNFILTERED: An Exhibition About Water, opens Thursday, February 8 at the Alexey von Schlippe Gallery located on the Avery Point Campus.
Unfiltered explores water as a universal concern and touches on the themes of: the power of water and the changing landscape; water pollution and biology; water scarcity; climate change; the physical properties of water; and the Connecticut River. The exhibition attempts to place on view works of art which provide visual launching points for discussions about these important water-based issues.
Please join the Campus Director’s Office for the opening reception, scheduled Thursday, February 8 from 6:00-8:00 pm. Light refreshments will be served.
Following the opening reception, the exhibition is on view through May 6, 2018, between the hours of Noon – 4:00 pm, Thursday through Sunday. Free admission.
The Alexey von Schlippe Gallery is located on the second floor of the Branford House.
