While some of us are loosening our belts this holiday season, there are a shocking number of people that are going hungry in our community. Foodshare, a local food bank that serves Hartford and Tolland counties, affirms 137,000 people in these areas that have the ability to consistently provide meals for their families.
UConn employees can help us achieve a hunger-free community by donating to Foodshare via the Connecticut State Employee for Charitable Giving Campaign (CSEC). Please consider participating and help us build a healthier community.
